Fox Run Play and Train offers positive training and play for your best friend. We are passionate about working with people and their dogs to add to the bond they share with their loving companion. In addition to training, we strive to provide the best care possible for your pet while you are at work or play with our Day Camp.

I can remember training my first dog, Sandy, a Golden Retriever, when I was nine years old. I felt so much joy when we worked together. It was a great partnership that inspired the conception of Fox Run Play and Train. The best part of my day is when I see a smile on a client’s face and a happy dog wagging its tail after visiting us at Fox Run.

Agility

Beginning Agility

$180

Beginning Agility will provide you and your dog with an introduction to the important foundation skills and progression towards the agility obstacles with safety and fun in mind. This class is intended for those new to agility, as well as for those who have already begun agility training elsewhere, but would like to improve their foundation skills. Rate: $180.00 for 5 week session. When: Please contact Lia for current class schedule. Prerequisite: Private Lesson needs to be completed for dog and handler assessment.

Intermediate Agility

$180

Intermediate Agility is for dog and handler teams who have basic foundation skills, 6 weave poles, and are working on contact obstacles. Rate: $180.00 for 5 week session. When: Please contact Lia for current class schedule.

Agility Private Lesson

$90

Agility Private Lesson is a one-hour session for dog and handler to work on their agility skills with the instructor. Rate: $90.00 for one-hour When: Contact Lia for scheduling.

Puppy Classes

Sports Puppy

$180

Calling all puppies 5 months or older. Whether you would like to explore agility for fun or for future competition, this class provides you the foundation skills to start on your journey. In addition to agility foundation skills we work on building your puppy’s confidence, building your relationship with your puppy, and creating an overall positive learning environment that equates to agility is fun. Prerequisite: Private lesson needs to be completed for dog and handler assessment. Rate: $180.00 for six week session. When: Please contact Lia for current class schedule.

Day Camp

1 Day a Week

The Fox Run Day Camp program provides socialization and enrichment opportunities for puppy and adult dogs alike. Each day's structured schedule incorporates monitored play, rest time, snack/meal time, and activities that may include water play, agility time in the agility yard and puppy gym time to work on balance and coordination. We keep our Day Camp enrollment low so that each pup receives personalized attention in regards to all aspects of their development and care. Discount available for paying monthly Day Camp Tuition. A full day constitutes 8 hours or less.

  • I highly recommend Fox Run Play & Train which is run by Lia. Not only is she a great dog trainer for basic obedience training she is also an amazing agility trainer. If you are looking for a great place to start she has foundation classes that will help you and your dog be successful. One of the pluses to training there is that you can rent her field to practice your skills if you don't have the space at home. Once you are ready to compete she is there to help you navigate competition trials and makes the experience fun!

  • Couldn't recommend Lia and Fox Run Play and Train more! Wanted to stay active and learn dog agility with my first dog when I heard about Lia, she quickly welcomed me and showed me the ropes and am excited to start showing with my Dachshund who loves agility as much as me! Lia is an amazing trainer who knows how to work and teach the dog handler which is a very special skill. If I lived closer to Lia my dog would be at her daycare but in the meantime I love taking her classes and highly recommend you check her out! Your pup will be a better pup for it!

  • We are so happy with Lia and Fox Run Play and Train. Our little Pomeranian can't wait to get in and play with Lia and his friends. Lia supervises and interacts with the all the campers the entire day and it shows. Xander always comes home a little better behaved than when we dropped him off in the morning. We love that Lia sends us pictures during the day and lets us know how Xander is doing. When we pick him up, she fills us in on his behaviors throughout the day. We find that to be so helpful and we really appreciate it. We highly recommend Fox Run Play and Train!

  • My husband and I recently started our agility training with Lia as total beginners. We'd seen some competitions and wanted to try it out with our youngest dog who is very smart, really fast, and has a mind of her own. In a very short time, Lia has taught us and our dog many of the basics. She has a plan prepared for each lesson and always manages to teach new things and to review previous lessons. She is a talented teacher who knows how and when to motivate both her human students and her dog students. We are thrilled to have found her!
